Bass
If you're playing the bass part for your group performance, that means you will be playing the bass line.
The bass line is the foundation for the harmonic progression of your song, and is played one note at a time.
You should find a copy of the bass tab for your song, which looks like this (this can be easily found on the internet):
The Letters G, D, A and E represent the 4 strings on a bass guitar.
The number on each string tells you which fret your finger should be on for that note.
0 means it is an open string.
