Below are the links to 10 listening exercises - 1 for each week of the term.  If you miss any of these exercises when they are done in class, you will need to complete them by yourself at home.

 

Listen to each song at least twice, and then write 4-5 sentences about the musical characteristics of the song.

Remember to think about:

• What instruments are playing

• How the instruments are being played

• When they are being played (i.e. in the intro, chorus, verse, etc.)

• What effect the instruments create

• Anything else you find interesting about the song
